Life Legacy

Earl French, 89, of Oklahoma City, Oklahoma, left this earth to be with his Heavenly Father on February 14.

He was born on a farm May 2, 1920 in Advance, Missouri to Earl and Florence French. Earl retired from Frederal Administration Agencey. He served in the U.S. Army during World War II in the Pacific Arena. He was the recipient of two purple hearts.

He always exhibited extraordinary kindness and selfless generosity throughout his life along with a strong devotion to his family.

Earl was preceded in death by his wife, Ethel of 64 years. He leaves wonderful memories of his son, Allan French; daughter, Sue Lutz; granddaughter, Leigh Hagan; great-grandson, Aaron Hagan; brother-in-laws, Charles and Wilbert Gisi; sister-in-law, Jo Hice; and numerous loving relatives and friends.

Friends may call at the Rainey-Mathis Funeral Home in Dexter from 9:00 A.M. until 1:00 P.M., Saturday, February 20, 2010. Funeral services will begin at 1:00 P.M. in the Rainey-Mathis Funeral Chapel. Interment will follow in the Dexter Cemetery.
