Lorn OíNeil Parish, son of the late Hobert Parish and Mamie Coffman Parish was born on August 18, 1925 in Hector, Arkansas and departed this life at his residence in Rural Bernie, Missouri on July 5, 2010 at the age of 84.
Mr. Parish was a veteran of the United States Army and was Owner and Operator of Neilís Welding Shop in Rural Bernie, and had attended Bernie Nazarene Church.
He was united in marriage to Nona Juanita Norden in Piggott, Arkansas on August 14, 1948. Mrs. Parish survives of the home in Rural Bernie.
Other survivors include, one son, Sammie Lynn Parish of Bernie, Missouri: by three brothers, Hartsel Parish of Cornville, Arizona, Edward Parish of Bentonville, Arkansas and Donald Joe Parish of Winter Haven, Florida: by two granddaughters, Dana Michelle Gough of Malden, Missouri and LaDonna Lee Christian of Bloomfield, Missouri: by four great- grandchildren, Lindsey Nicole Gough, Brandon Gough, Seth Norman and Zach Norman: by two great-great-grandchildren, Briawna Young and Olivia Gough. Also by other relatives and friends.
Friends may call at Rainey-Mathis Funeral Home in BERNIE on Wednesday, July 7, 2010 from 10:30 A.M. until 1:00 P.M. Funeral service will be conducted at 1:00 P.M. in the Rainey-Mathis Funeral Chapel with Rev. John Humbert officiating. Interment will follow in the Bernie Cemetery.
